Carpenter's Helper

Locally owned painting company looking to grow carpentry division!

Are you looking to get your foot in the door with a great company and build your skills in the trades? We’re hiring a Carpenter’s Helper to support our growing carpentry division at Sound Painting Solutions.

Sound Painting Solutions is a millennial-owned and operated business offering high-quality painting and carpentry services across the greater Seattle area. Founded by a journeyman painter in 2012, we know firsthand the value of skilled tradespeople—and we take care of our team.

We’re looking for someone reliable, motivated, and ready to learn. You’ll work under experienced carpenters on a wide variety of residential and light commercial projects—everything from siding and decks to interior trim and repairs. If you’re eager to grow in your craft, we’ll provide the training, support, and opportunity.

This is not a seasonal position. We provide year-round, full-time work and are committed to building long-term relationships with our employees.

Pay: $22–$28 per hour depending on experience

Job Requirements

• 6 months – 2 years of carpentry or construction experience preferred

• Basic hand tools

• Comfortable with ladders and working outdoors

• Good attitude, punctual, and coachable

• Valid driver license and reliable transportation to job sites
